Town of Bell Planning Commission Minutes April 10, 2023

Motion to approve prior meeting minutes Mark Ehlers, second Nancy Moye Unanimous
Updates/Correspondence: Still working on crosswalk
Class A Special Use STR; Steckart/Tenebrini: Motion to approve Nancy Moye, second Mark Ehlers contingent upon compliance with TOB Driveway Ord.#07-01 Unanimous
Justine Broderson: Dumpster placement and access; Motion to allow access from Superior Ave. Mark Ehlers, second Jody Hipsher. Unanimous
Encroachment on Town owned lands: State Statute allows Towns to handle encroachments. Reached out to Ruth Halstrom Bayfield County Planning and Zoning. Ruth’s comments: Does the Town have an ordinance concerning encroachments? If no ordinance it’s up to the Town if it wants to allow encroachments. As far as Zoning is concerned: Has to meet set back requirements, Was a building permit issued, is there a certified survey. Discussion will continue at the May 8 meeting.
Land Use Maps: Commissioners have been looking over any possible changes. This is also to help Bayfield County with their Land Use Plan.
