Town of Bell Plan Commission Meeting

December 5, 2024

Town of Bell Community Center

Meeting called to order at 4:11 PM. 

In attendance: Jackie Eid, Ken Roman, Nancy Moye, John Anderson.

1. Review/Approve Prior Meeting Minutes: Eid makes motion to approve November minutes, seconded by Roman. Approved unanimously.

2. Updates/Correspondence: Launch of the new Town website is forthcoming within the next month, barring no problems with setting up the new .gov email addresses. The Plan Commission’s documentation (agendas and minutes) are all caught up on the new site and a workflow has been established by Anderson to keep things up-to-date going forward. Future postings will be made under the auspices of the Plan Commission chair’s account on the website.

3. Letter Review: The Commission’s letter to the County regarding the Leuth CUP was reviewed and one factual inaccuracy was identified. A revised document will be presented at the January meeting and filed by the Chair with the County Planning and Zoning Committee prior to the public-comment deadline for their January 2026 meeting.  

4. Comprehensive Plan Review: Roman has received no additional feedback on potential revisions to the Comprehensive Plan over the last month. Roman suggests convening as a working group to develop a timetable for making page-by-page revisions; the first session to accomplish this will be held on Monday, December 16 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Community Center.

5. January Meeting Date: Next meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025 at  4:00 PM.

Motion to adjourn by Eid, seconded by Roman, approved unanimously. Meeting concluded at 5:47 PM.
