Town of Bell Plan Commission Meeting
February 8, 2024

Meeting called to order at 4:07 PM.
In attendance: Jackie Eid, John Anderson, Nancy Moye, Mark Ehlers. Absent: Jody Hipsher.
1. Review/Approve Prior Meeting Minutes: Anderson makes motion to approve November minutes with one amendment: replacing “Community members” in Section 5 with “Sawgrass developers.” Seconded by Ehlers, approved unanimously.
2. Updates/Correspondence: Town Board is working on assembling information to send to STR owners/managers for the license application process, the hope is to send out applications and instructions to STR property owners in early spring, with applications and instructions to resident agents shortly thereafter. Extensive discussion ensued on the interpretation of elements of the Town’s ordinance.
3. Review of Workshop: Time expired, no discussion or action taken.
4. Amend or Accept Comprehensive Plan as Written, Recommendation to Town Board: Time expired, no discussion or action taken. Ehlers notes that the Plan Commission should be looped in on future work regarding the Town’s wastewater collection system.
5. March Meeting Date: Next meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 7 at 4:00 PM.
Motion to adjourn by Anderson, seconded by Eid, approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 5:14 PM.
